Krysten came over today to study for our bio lab exam and in the process of getting everything out, we got a little side tracked…

We danced to old 90’s music from N*sync, laughed over nothing, and shared some pretty personal stuff. All while trying to study bio. Needless to say, not much was done.

By the time we were done with dinner, we had actually started some review. Sort of. Anyways, we were filling out this table of different phyla and ran across the Hydras. This is where things got interesting. Not only do hyrdas only have one hole for both their anus and mouth (clearly technical terms from the book here people) but Krysten goes on to say “I would hate to have my mouth be my butt” or something along those lines. We instantly cracked up. It even went as far as coining the term “I’m going to pull a Hydra!” (In reference to throwing up for those not following.)

Oh boy, best way to study bio. I will never forget Hydras have one opening now…
